The Taringa crew talk about some of the tikanga of our tūpuna regarding ariki in light of the recent coronation ceremony of King Charles III.

Te reo whakawhāiti. When learning te reo Māori it's easy to get stuck in the black and white of syntax, grammar structures and so forth. However, there are also alot of grey areas which can't be measured by a flow chart. This grey part is tikanga and can only be learned or understood by experience.
